Hi LÍLLÉ lovers! Here at LÍLLÉbaby, our goal is always to spread the love of babywearing by giving you a variety of options so you can find the baby carrier that suits your specific needs! But with great options comes great responsibility, and we know it can be tricky to figure out the differences and similarities between our styles. That's why we occassionally host a side-by-side, one-on-one rumble between two of our most popular styles, in hopes that it will help you choose the right winner for your lifestyle! The LÍLLÉbaby COMPLETE Original
Before we begin, let’s note that both the COMPLETE Original and COMPLETE Embossed have all the great features and functionality found in the entire COMPLETE line of baby carriers.
This includes:
Six ergonomic carrying positions
Lumbar support
Extra tall extendable torso with attached neck support
Two way adjustable straps
Wide padded shoulders and waist belt
They are the same size (weight range of 7-45lbs), both have cotton shoulder straps that are the equal length, waist belts are equal, and both have mesh lining. Neither carrier requires an infant insert. Are you with me so far? Perfect.

The LILLEbaby COMPLETE Original is made of our durable 100% cotton. All of our fabrics are put through rigorous testing to be sure they are colorfast, resilient, and, most importantly, safe for baby. Cotton is the classic choice for baby carriers, and is versatile enough to be comfortable in all climates, easy to clean, and resilient.
The COMPLETE Embossed is made of our ultra-soft, lightweight and very breathable microcloth. It's similar to the fabric you might find on high-end athletic gear, but without any stretch, and it's ideal for warm climates or active families, or for baby wearers who simply like the subtle "glow" of the fabric. It's machine washable and does a remarkable job of repelling stains and moisture.
While the COMPLETE Original is lined with our classic cotton, the Embossed has a secret - super soft suede cloth for an extra comfortable ride for your little one. The suede cloth is remarkably thin, and incredibly velvety to the touch.
We've also left out a few layers of internal lining in the body of the Embossed carrier. Although it won't affect your comfort, or baby's, it does reduce the weight and thickness of the carrier, making for a lighter and cooler ride for all!
Our COMPLETE Original is available in a wide variety of beautiful colors and festive prints. The COMPLETE Embossed features stunning solid colors with the lovely addition of subtle embroidery, which gives the carrier a luxurious feel. Hi Lillebaby! I am first-time mum now deciding which baby carrier to get. I am stuck between the two choices of Complete All Seasons or Complete Embossed. I am inclined to get the Embossed because of its design but I am also worried if the material for Embossed series is a little too cooling to keep my little one warm during the cold season. Could you provide some advice? Thank you!
